Located in Pukekohe, Sticky Business was formed in 1993 by a family with many years of label industry experience. Now, well into our third decade, we have matured into a highly successful, 100% NZ-owned company. Most of our staff have also enjoyed a long career in the label industry, giving us a rich tapestry of experience to draw from. As such, we are able to produce consistent quality sticky labels at competitive prices, using proven manufacturing techniques along with modern equipment to ensure accurate and fast results.

The level of care, accuracy, and thoroughness we apply to every aspect of our business has enabled us to thrive for thirty years. We regularly perform critical analysis across all areas of the company and recently invested heavily in custom-built Production/CRM software that is linked with our accounts software. This provides us with very transparent systems, meaning we can convey information quickly and accurately.

Having ‘Attention to Detail’ at the top of our priorities as a business provides us with a high level of efficiency but, more importantly, a much lower level of stress for all employees. The well-being of our employees is critical and not just a ‘nice to have’ concept. As such, we adhere to seven key areas that allow us to apply keen attention to detail in all our operations. Preparation

We ensure our staff are equipped with everything they need to tackle their day-to-day, from uniforms to tools, training, a stocked fridge and pantry for nourishment, and everything in between. We foster a supportive, no-pressure, no-judgement environment, even implementing a smoke-free initiative to promote healthy lifestyles outside of work. Over the last five years, this initiative has proven rather successful, with the celebration of a 100% smoke-free workforce in March 2019.

Planning

Planning is crucial to efficient operations. Our detailed software, combined with regular production meetings and a positive, enjoyable work environment, allows us to plan for success with ease. We incorporate customer feedback, employee insights, sales trends, and data to ensure sufficient and reliable label printing for customers in Pukekohe, Auckland, and wider New Zealand.

Communication

It is important to us that our individual and company ideas and messages are conveyed accurately, so we like to provide more details than most, leaving little room for chance and misunderstanding. To do this, we invest in communication training and upskill our staff in personality psychology to assist us with internal engagement.

Listening

Communication is also a key factor. As a company, we actively listen to understand our clients' specific needs to ensure we deliver self-adhesive labels suitable for their intended use.
